Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are having a beautiful day celebrating with family and friends.
In the spirit of giving thanks, I wanted to share the things I’m thankful for this year.
What I’m Thankful For
My husband and my three little girls are everything to me. I’m so grateful for them. I’m also thankful for my extended family—my parents, my brothers and their families, and my husband’s family.
Faith is a large part of my life and who I am as a person. I am thankful for God and all that He has done for me. He guides me and gives me the opportunity to grow and change into a better person.
There have been times in my life when I wasn’t sure how to make the next month’s rent payment. At one time, my husband and I had to receive government aid in order to keep the heat on. Now, my husband has a wonderful job with great benefits. Owning our home is a blessing that I don’t take for granted.
Both the country I was born and raised in (Canada) and the country I live in now (USA). Both countries are beautiful, unique, and full of vibrant people. I love the cultures, the diversity, and most of all, the freedoms that we enjoy.
This big, beautiful earth
The planet we live on is incredible. The more I learn about it, the more in awe I am of it. It’s worth celebrating.
Where would I be without books? Books have saved me time and again. They are my friends when I’m lonely, an escape when life gets too hard, my teachers when I need to learn, and a feast for my heart and soul.
Blogging has become a passion of mine. It gives me the opportunities to write, organize, and manage something other than laundry and dirty dishes. Blogging gives me a creative outlet and a community to interact with.
All forms of art have the power to fundamentally change you. Words, pictures, song, and dance—every other creative expression dreamed up by the human race is worthy of celebration. I am thankful for art in all its forms and I’m thankful for the artists that create it.
What are you thankful for?
