I finished up this ad design a few weeks ago for a jewelry company called Gold Adore. They sell vintage and antique jewelry as well as a few of their own custom designs. I’ve done several designs for them in the past, and I always love working with them. One of the perks of creating designs for a jewelry shop is that I get to browse through their beautiful collection of jewelry!
In this case, my client wanted a seamless white background. White can be tricky, but I found some images that worked well for the concept. I removed fingers and backgrounds from the photos before placing the rings on the white background and adding the reflection.
Manipulating photos can be time consuming, but I love the way this ad turned out. It took some trial and error, some inventing, and a lot of patience, but the final result was worth it.
I also created a postcard design, but decided not to post it here.

I worked as a graphic designer at a printing company in Idaho before kids came along. Since then, I’ve been doing freelance design. I create logos, business cards, mail pieces, book covers, and many other projects.
