Stacking the Shelves #38: Meet My New Books!

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.  This is where I share the new books I’ve gotten recently.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these, so I’ve had a few books show up since my last STS post.  Here they are!

Picture Books:

Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group for sending me The Big Book of Color and My Little Book of Life Cycles.  Both of these are fantastic.  And a big thank you to Joan Holub for sending me Make a Wish, Midas! and Brush Your Hair, Medusa!  My kids love this series and they were overjoyed to see these two show up in our mailbox.

Middle Grade Books:

Thank you to Random House for sending me A Dragon’s Guide to the Care and Feeding of Humans.  I started reading this with my kids and it is SO CUTE!  I can’t wait to share my thoughts on it.

Young Adult Books:

I purchased both The Falconer and Divine as Kindle books this month.  They were on sale and they were both books that I’ve wanted to read for some time.

Adult Books/Nonfiction:

Thank you to Random House for sending me Better and Faster by Jeremy Gutsche!  I’ve already read it and I loved it.  Thank you to HarperCollins for sending me The Art of Work by Jeff Goins.  I’m excited to get started on this one.  Trail of Broken Wings is my Kindle First pick for the month.

Have you gotten any new books recently?

These aren't my usual types of reads but I hope you enjoy them. Happy reading!

These books look interesting. I always loved picture books when I was younger. I hope you love everything and have a wonderful Easter weekend.

The Falconer is pretty good! I haven't heard of Divine, but that cover is really pretty.
