Stacking the Shelves #34: My Last Big Book Haul for a While

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.  This is where I share the new books I’ve gotten recently.

As exciting as it is getting new books in the mail, I’ve come to realize that I can’t take on any more.  My baby is due in a few months and I don’t want to be thinking about the blog when I should be thinking about her. I have more than enough books to last me the rest of the year, so this will be one of my last Stacking the Shelves posts for a while.  I still have some books that are on their way or in the mail, so I’ll share those when they show up, but I’m not going to take on any more books from here on out. At least, not until some time after the baby is born.

Here’s what I got this week.

Picture Books:

Thank you to Sourcebooks for sending me The Littlest Bunny in North Carolina! The fun thing about this Easter story is that you can get it for whichever state you live in (and some major Canadian cities). Just search Amazon for The Littlest Bunny and the name of your state (or Canadian city) to find yours.

Middle Grade Books:

Thank you to ARCycling and Montana from Book Belles for sending me The Unwanteds! I’m really looking forward to reading it! Thank you to Free Book Friday for the giveaway of You Can’t Sit With Us.

Young Adult Books:

Thank you to HarperCollins and BookLook Bloggers for sending me a copy of Both of Me. It sounds intriguing and I’m interested to see how it goes. Thank you to Angry Robot Publishing for having a sale on Stolen Songbird for $1.99 so that I could finally get my greedy hands on this book that everyone seems to love.

That’s it for me this week.  What new books have you gotten?

I read The Unwanteds and enjoyed it. I haven't read any of the others in the series yet. Hope you like it and the other books you got! 🙂

Congratulations on the soon arrival of your baby. Baby definitely wins over blogging. 🙂 I have to agree Stolen Songbird does look beautiful and I've seen it around on other lists. Time to check it out for myself.
