Weekly Update (7/14/14): What I’m Reading Now

Summer is in full swing at my house.  I’ve been spending my days at the pool with my kids while they take swimming lessons.  Here’s what I’ve been reading:

What I read last week:

I’ve already reviewed Urban Watercolor Sketching and you can see my review for it HERE.  It was such a fun book!  I also finished The Dreamosphere, The Far Dawn (love, love, loved this one!), and The Swift Boys and Me, which was really sweet.
What I’m currently reading:

I’m almost finished with Throne of Glass.  I’m not head over heels for it, but it’s still pretty good.  I’m also reading Girl to Girl, a book for girls (obviously) ages 8-12 about growing up and puberty.  So far, it’s proving to be a very comprehensive and upbeat book most girls could benefit from.

What I plan to read next:

As soon as I finish with Throne of Glass, I’m going to start reading A Match of Wits.  I’ve been looking forward to it ever since it showed up in my mailbox.  I am also looking forward to At Your Service and A Tale Dark and Grimm (I’m on a scary book kick lately).  In spite of my initial eye rolling fest while reading Throne of Glass, I have been sucked into the story and am looking forward to starting Crown of Midnight.

What are you reading now?
