Stacking the Shelves #11: One New Book in Every Age Group!

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.  This is where I share the new books I’ve gotten recently.

I’ve only been accepting a few books for review lately.  I get stressed out when I get too many and I can’t get to them all.  These books are from the last two weeks.

These are books I’ve received from publishers, authors, NetGalley, and a giveaway.

Picture Books:

I’ve already reviewed Even Monsters (click here), but the publisher was kind enough to send me a hard cover copy of the book.  I have to say, the hardcover is stunning!  The artwork was awesome on my iPad, but it blew me away to see it in print!   I would definitely recommend buying the hardcover copy of this book.

Middle Grade:

This book sounds fantastic.  I can’t wait to read it!

Young Adult:

I can’t help myself when it comes to Kelly Oram.  I own every single one of her books and I love them all.  I just finished reading The Avery Shaw Experiment and will be posting a review for it in a few weeks.  A is for Abstinence is the sequel to V is for Virgin.  I haven’t read either book, but I’m definitely looking forward to spending some time with them.

I won an ARC in a Goodreads First Reads giveaway.  The premise is intriguing, and I like Christian fiction/historical fiction, so this should be a good read for me. I haven’t been entering many giveaways lately because I want to get through my review books, but I’m glad I entered this one.

What new books have you gotten?

I love Kody Keplinger! I really want to read her MG book…aaand, I really need to read more of her YA ones too. The Duff is my favourite so far, though. 🙂 My StS!

Nice variety of books. I've seen The Swift Boys and Me around a lot lately. Come see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

I don't really read MG novels, but I think I might give The Swift Boys a try because I adore Kody Keplinger's writing. I hope you enjoy all your lovely reads this week. 🙂
