This book is about finding balance as a work at home mother. It’s
geared toward Christian mothers, especially those that write. Religion
and faith are a big part of Tricia’s message. The book could be
summed up by three main points:
1) Put God first, before anything else
2) Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize
3) Remove everything that takes up time that isn’t necessary
I really liked her advice on finding ways to wear the many hats that
moms do. While I was surprised at the strong religious focus, I
appreciated the author’s encouragement and suggestions in that
area. The only thing I didn’t like about the book is the way
several ideas are repeated. But that happens in almost every
self-help type book I’ve read.
At just over 100 pages, it’s a quick read. It has a wonderful message of faith and hope, which is something that every mother needs! This is a great book most Christian moms that work from home will find useful.
