As Goldilocks walks
through the forest, she spies a cottage in a clearing. The curious
little girl peeks in the window and sees that nobody is home, so she
steps inside and takes a look around. What Goldilocks doesn’t know is
that the cottage belongs to three bears, and they don’t like uninvited
guests . . .
My kids love this simple retelling of Goldilocks and the three bears.
It’s nice to read a classic story without any weird twists to it. The
illustrations are warm, engaging, and super cute. I thought it was a
little weird that all the bears are male. I had expected at least one to
be female. But either way, it was still a really cute retelling of the classic story.
