I discovered the Branches line from Scholastic back when my oldest daughter was still in preschool. It was brand new then, and we got every book available and read them all together.

We fell in love with their high-interest stories like Eerie Elementary and The Notebook of Doom. I’m glad to see even more stories come out under the Branches line. The Hilde Cracks the Case series is a welcome addition. My kids love mysteries.

Chapter books have steadily gotten better during the past few years and I’m happy to see the trend continue.

If you have a child that’s starting to read independently and you’re looking for good chapter books, the Branches line has a lot to offer. I’m so excited to partner with them to offer you the chance to win a copy of Hero Dog.
