My Thoughts on That’s Me Loving You

That's Me Loving You by Amy Krouse Rosenthall, illustrated by Teagan White.

Some of my favorite children’s books are about the love of a parent, and I know I’m not alone on this one. Seriously, who doesn’t love snuggling up with their kid and reading a comforting book that’s all about how much you love them? There’s no better feeling in the world.

This is the kind of book you want on hand for those days when your child needs some extra love and cuddles. It’s a great book to read aloud on sick days, at bedtime, or just because.

The thing I love the most about this book is the cheerful message and the feeling of love that persists throughout. Of course, having Teagan White’s extraordinary illustrations doesn’t hurt, either. Her artwork is bright, colorful, and happy. She is one of my favorite illustrators right now and her art was perfect for this book.

I can’t get over how beautiful this book is. If you’re looking for a good gift, a beautiful children’s book, or something extra special to add to your child’s shelves, don’t pass up That’s Me Loving You. It’s getting the “favorite” spot on my shelf.

I love Amy’s books. This one sounds delightful. I don’t have any children, but I plan to check it out so I can tell people about it. 🙂

It definitely will! My daughter is 21 months and it’s one of our favorites to snuggle up with before naptime.

Yes! It’s so adorable. I’ve been reading it to my almost-two-year-old every night before bed and she loves it. It’s the perfect bedtime book.

I hope you don’t mind, but I got a book review request to a children’s novel. Seeing as I don’t review those, I mentioned your blog! Hope that is alright.

PS. I am glad she loves it!

I don’t mind at all! I can’t make any promises since my TBR is looking rather monstrous these days, but you never know. 🙂
