As a book reviewer, chances are you will need to find a direct link to your review on Amazon and Goodreads at one point or another. It’s not hard to do, but it can be really frustrating if you don’t know how. Most websites that offer books for review ask for a direct link to your review on a retail website. Since I get asked quite frequently for instructions on how to find a direct link, I put together this step-by-step tutorial. If you need to enlarge the screenshots, just click on them.
How to Find a Direct Link to Your Amazon Review
Step 1: Log in to Amazon and click on “Your Account”.
How to Find a Direct Link to Your Goodreads Review:
- Log in to Goodreads and do a search for the book you reviewed. In this case, I was searching for Forbidden by Kimberley Griffiths Little. Click on the book.
2. You are now on the book’s main page. Scroll down until you see your review. It should be the first one. Click on “See Review”. (If you don’t see your review, you are either not logged in or you haven’t posted your review correctly.)
3. Now you are on a page displaying only your review. Highlight the link at the top. This is your direct link. Copy and paste this link into your email.
There you go! Now you know how to find a direct link to your reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.
