Do you want free ebooks? There are literally hundreds of authors looking for reviews. If you like reading and would be willing to write a short review in exchange for a free ebook, then sign up to receive a weekly email featuring books for review.
What is Expected:
You do not need a blog! You just need to like reading and be willing to write a short review of the book. Here’s what you do:
Read the Book – If you get into the book and find that you don’t like it, you do not have to keep reading. Fill out the Submit Review form (each book will have one) and mark the book as DNF.
Write a Review – Write a short review (100-300 words) of the book you read. Say what you liked and what you didn’t like, but please don’t be cruel. Author bashing will not be tolerated.
Post the Review – After you fill out the Submit Review form, post your review to Amazon, Goodreads, and anywhere else you feel like posting it (Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Indie Bound, etc). You only need to post it to two places, but you may post it to as many as you want.
*Copyright – Ebooks are copyrighted. You may not share, copy, or sell any ebooks you receive.
How long do I have to review a book?
You can take up to 60 days to review a book. I keep track of each review as it comes in, so I know who has reviewed their book and who has not.
What if I receive a book, but don’t review it?
If you didn’t like the book and quit reading, please fill out the Submit Review form anyway. Check the box as DNF so I know you tried. I have a three strikes and you’re out policy. If I don’t receive anything from you within the 60 days allotted, you will receive one strike. Two more and you will no longer be able to receive ebooks from me. A DNF review does not count as a strike as long as you fill out the form or send me an email requesting more time.
How many books can I receive?
I’m not putting a limit on the number of books you can receive, but remember that if you don’t submit a review back to me within 60 days of receiving a book, it will count against you.
What do I get?
In addition to receiving free ebooks, I will be offering a monthly gift card giveaway for everyone that submits a review.
What kinds of books do you offer?
You can expect to see mostly self published or small press ebooks. Since my blog is for children’s and young adult books, that’s probably what you’ll see the most of. However, this feature is open to adult books as well, so there will be some of those. The only thing you won’t see here is horror, erotica, and steamy romance.
That’s it! If you want to get free books and the chance at a gift card each month, fill out the form below to receive an email when new books become available. Filling out the form does not obligate you to review any books. You pick the books you want to review.
