In other news, I cut my finger on a can this week. I spent a ridiculous amount of time crying about it, but it hurt! My youngest brother (I have 5) turned 19 while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Hamptons. Lastly, I went on a complete romance reading binge.
I finished Dangerous Deceptions and loved it. I’m curious to see where the series takes Peggy next. I then went on a total romance binge. I read a whole bunch of books in two days. I had been in a reading slump, and this binge totally pulled me out of it. At any rate, these four books were relatively clean. There were lots of suggestive thoughts, but no sex happened on the page. All of them dealt more with the emotional connection between the characters rather than the physical.
I can’t remember why I had this book on my Kindle, but it sounded sweet, so I gave it a try. It was not sweet. I only made it a few pages in before I knew exactly where the story was heading and I quit reading. Translation: If you like clean romance, read something else.
I’m working on The Woman Who Would be King. I just started Curtsies and Conspiracies for the read along. It’s such a fun series! I binge read most of The Princess Spy yesterday and I’ll finish it up today.
I added a couple new books to my Kindle and my physical stack last week, but I’m going to keep this TBR list the same so I can get these read before I start on anything else.
I added Anomaly, This Shattered World, and Go Fast, Goo to my bookshelves last week. I’ll be posting my review of Goo later this week and I hope to get the other two books read before the end of the month (after I read what’s already on my TBR for November.)
