Stacking the Shelves #20: Meet My New Books!

Uncategorized

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.  This is where I share the new books I’ve gotten recently.

I successfully climbed back on the No New Books horse and was very strict about how many books I accepted for review.  These books are from the last THREE weeks.  I’m very proud of myself. My TBR stack is slowly shrinking and the wait time for reviews is also getting shorter.  Hopefully I won’t have to be so strict with myself in the near future.

Middle Grade Books:
Thank you to Shadow Mountain Publishing for A Tale of Light and Shadow!

Young Adult Books:
Thank you to Harper Collin’s Christian Publishing and BookLook Bloggers for Storm Siren, and thank you to Aya Ling for sending me Princesses Don’t Become Engineers!

That’s it for review books!  I’m excited to read all three of these books.  I’m especially looking forward to Princesses Don’t Become Engineers by Aya Ling.  I’ve loved all her Princess books so far.  BTW, it’s at a special introductory price of $0.99 right now, but it will soon go up to $4.99, so snag a copy now while it’s on sale!  Get it HERE.

Ebooks:
These are books that I bought because I’ve wanted them for a long time and they were on sale or they were freebies. None of them are for review.

Not going to lie, I am a big time Janette Rallison fangirl. I love her books and have read most of them. But every now and then she gets the rights back to one of her older books and self-publishes it. Just One Wish is one of those and I couldn’t resist. I also bought Son of War Daughter of Chaos, which is her newest release. Like I said, I love her books.

I also love Christian fiction, if you couldn’t tell from my selection of purchased books.  I love the romance novels because they are so sweet and clean and they usually have an uplifting message to them as well.

What new books have you gotten lately?

Heard of Storm Siren but none of the others, so I'll have to check them out. Enjoy! 🙂
