Weekly Update (6/16/14): What I’m Reading Now

Uncategorized

I read three books this week and I’m almost done with a fourth.  Here’s what I’ve been up to:

What I read last week:

I finished the Spy Catcher of Maple Hill.  It took me much longer than expected to read it.  I was kind of in a reading slump and only read a little bit each day, but I finally finished it.  Don’t Call Me Baby was really cute and my review will be up tomorrow.  I’m No Angel was a very interesting book.  It’s definitely worth the read, I think.

What I’m currently reading:

The Worst Hard Time is riveting.  I didn’t know anything about the Dust Bowl before and I feel like Timothy Egan is standing in front of me, giving me an in-depth lecture on it.  I’m almost done with The Here and Now and I just started The Night Gardener.  I don’t want to get too excited yet, but The Night Gardener already has me hooked.  I can’t stop thinking about it.

What I hope to read soon:

Hopefully I’ll get to read A World Without Princes this week, and if I’m lucky, I will start on the Born of Illusion series. I’ve been DYING to start those books and I can’t wait to see where they take me!

What are you reading this week?
