I’ve been blogging for a few weeks now and I have come to realize a couple of things. The first is that I need a header image for my blog, so I will be working on that and will hopefully have that up (and a grab button!) soon.
The second is that I don’t like writing negative reviews. Luckily, I haven’t had to do it much, but it doesn’t make me happy, and I’m sure it doesn’t make the author/illustrator/publisher happy. I’ve heard criticism that reviewers are too easy on books and that everyone is giving positive reviews all the time. I’m not being paid for my reviews, so I don’t have any motivation to write a review that isn’t 100% honest. Considering that I want to keep my reviews honest and positive, I have decided that I am going to review only those books, e-books, and book apps that I think are exceptional.
So if you wonder why all of my reviews are mostly positive, it is because I am no longer reviewing books that I don’t enjoy or have nothing useful to say about.
Now, I’m going to get back to my current read, Guardians of Ga’Hoole #1: The Capture: (Movie Cover)
